Is this safe?

When my aunt Coleen was here we all went to idaho Falls for a bit of shopping and lunch. Well we all couldn't fit in one car with the car seat we were one seat short, so I was just going to take my own car. When I got to my moms to follow them to Idaho Falls this is what my mom and Aunt Coleen had figured out. They strapped Kenidee's car seat in the back part of my mom's car.(I kept calling it the Trunk) I was a little worried about it for awhile , but they convinced me it was just fine for the ride down, then my uncle would be going back with my grandpa so she would be able to sit in a seat for the rest of our adventure.
Well things went fine and Kenidee loved it, when I switched the seat she wanted to be in the back still. I don't think I will be letting her do it again but I guess it saved me the gas of driving my car to Idaho Falls.

aaagh laundry!!!!!

As some of you know I HATE doing laundry. Well in our apt. we had a little washer and dryer, it would be over loaded if you put two pair of jeans in it, and the dryer would take 3 times to get anything dry, so needless to say I got really behind. When we moved to Rigby with my sister I didn't want to move any dirty laundry, but I didn't get it finished and I just couldn't get caught up.
So last Friday Robin was off work and we decided to gather up all our laundry and take it to the laundry mat. $25.00 later our laundry was done. Some of you might say wow that was a lot of money to do something you could do at home but I say it was sooooo worth it. We are now all caught up on our laundry and it make doing it so much easier knowing I will be done in about 4 loads. So thank you Robin for helping me get all caught up, I am proud to say we are still caught up. :)

Finished Trusses.

A few weeks ago we put trusses on the remaining four houses, ours was one of them. We are now starting to sheet the roofs. I think we have one complete and we have started four others. We hope to get shingles on before it gets to hot. It is a long process but it is all slowly coming together. I can't wait till we are inside working. I don't go out as much as I should but hopefully when I start feeling better I can go out more. Robin goes out a lot, have I mentioned he is amazing! At our last meeting for the house they told us that we were behind the schedule but we were ahead for how many hours we have had to work. Winter here really set us back.

Last week when we were out doing catwalks we found a bird nest in our house. It didn't have any eggs, so one of the guys took it out. I was amazed at how neat a birds nest is, and to think they did it all with a beak and maybe some help from their feet.

Here are pictures of our house with trusses. It makes it look so much more like a houseSide of the house

Family of Four! :)

I couldn't wait anymore. I wanted to tell all my friends and family that we are EXPECTING. I went to the Dr. last week and everything is going good. The only thing is that I wasn't as far along as I thought. I thought the babies due date would be the 10th of December, but after the ultra sound at the DR. he informed me that I was due December 21 so that put me back a whole 2 weeks. We are excited, I have been sick in the mornings when I first wake up but then I have some toast and I am fine till about 3:00 in the afternoon. then I am so sick.
We have told Kenidee, but she is so little she really does not understand. in fact we were driving in the car today and I asked her if she will help me with the baby when it comes and she said yes then I asked her a bunch of questions like; will you change the diapers? Uh huh, will you feed them a bottle? uh huh, will you share your Binky with the baby? she didn't even think about it and answered NO! So I guess that is where she stands on that.
We just hope we can get our house built and moved in before the little one comes.

feeling hot hot hot!

Good news! We have our trusses on our house! It was a beautiful day I think in the 80's... Lets just say it was HOT! Well Robin rolled up his sleeves and got WAY burnt. I in my defence I told him to put sunscreen on the part that never saw the sun but, as you can see he didn't listen. Poor guy he is so sore, yes the little bumps are blisters. I promise I will post pictures of the house soon.

Seminary Graduation

Two posts in one day. I must be moving up in the world. Last night my niece graduated from Seminary. Andria played her cello for the prelude music, and did a wonderful job. We are so excited to see her grow up and move on. She is such a wonderful young lady. We are very proud of her. We love her very much, and are so glad she is part of our family.

First skinned knee

Yesterday Kenidee was outside playing and fell and skinned her knee. poor thing. It was so sad to see her hurt and bleeding. We cleaned it up and put a band aid on it and everything seemed to be better. I know there will be a million more but I thought we should document this occasion.

Such a sad little girl

Mothers day!

I know a little late... but We had a wonderful day. It all started Saturday night. Robin took me out to Jonny's for dinner. We forgot that it was commencement dance so we got to wait a long time and look at all the girls in there dresses and all the boys in there tuxes. While we were waiting I signed up for a drawing. For one of three baskets filled with wonderful things. You will never guess what happened I won the "grand prize" a basket filled with over $350 worth of stuff. I never win anything. I don't know what all is in it yet but, I will get it tonight so I will have to do a post of my winnings. I am excited.
So on mothers day Robin and my niece Andria Made Rebecca and I a wonderful mothers day breakfast, of French Toast on french bread, one of my favorite breakfast foods, sausage, and biskets and gravy and some amazing apple juice. YUMMY!

Robin and kenidee gave me a beautiful pearl pendant on a chain. I love it.
The day didn't end there. After church we went to my grandmas for dinner and then went to my aunt and uncles for dessert! At my Aunt and uncles we went around the room and we all said something we love about our Grandma Luana. (who kenidee is named after) She is loved all the way from making the best cookies ever to, being a great example of love and service.

Grandma Luana has always been the best example to me, She has not only been my grandma but one of my best friends. When I was little I would tell my mom I was running away and run to my Grandma's (there is only one house between our houses) I have and still do spend a lot of time at my grandparents. They are amazing people.

My Mom has always been a great example to me as well. She never gives up and is such a hard worker. She has taught me to work as hard as I can, and do the best I can. She has always been there when I needed her. She has helped me through many ups and downs. She also is my best friend. She has taught me what being a good mother means. She has always been so much fun, Kenidee loves her. She is the most fun grandma , Kenidee loves being with her grandma. If I can be only half the mom to kenidee that my mom has been to me I will be doing great! I love my mom.
I am also so thankful for Robin's mom. She has raised a great son, a son that I happen to love. :) She has always been very kind and welcoming to me.She does everything she can to make sure we have everything we need. We have become great friends. I am so thankful I have a mother in law that I love.

Mermaid song

Not the best mermaid song from kenidee but it is a good one from Robin :) I got the a few dance moves clip to work so make sure to scroll down to watch that one as well.

Pa Pa and Ju Ju

Robins mom and dad came this last week from Washington to help work on the house. Thank you thank you! I was worried that Kenidee would be a bit standoffish, and not want to go to them. That was not the case. It did take her a second but she soon wanted to see her pa pa and ju ju.
We had so much fun with them and Kenidee loves pa pa and ju ju. Skip would chase Kenidee around the house and kenidee would scream and laugh then realize that pa pa wasn't chasing her anymore. So she would go back and look for him. She would soon find out that Pa pa was hiding and right before Kenidee would discover him he would jump out and scare her to death, she would scream, laugh and run away, and the game would start over. One time Skip scared her so bad she almost cried Skip had to convince her it was funny, in the midst of him laughing.
After Kenidee's nap this afternoon she woke up asking for ju ju. I wish they lived closer so they were able to see Kenidee more.
We didn't get trusses on our house this weekend but hopefully in the next two weeks we will be able to get it done
Chasing pa pa out at the house.
