Kenidee is 2!

I can't believe it but my baby turned 2 yesterday. We had quite the weekend of birthdays. on the 9th it was my grandma's 80th birthday party filled with yummy food and fantastic cake and icecream.
On the 10 was my neice Hailee's 1st birthday. She is so cute and getting to be so much fun. We only wished that she lived closer to us. On the 10th we had a family party for kenidee and hailee.
Kenidee helped me make her birthday cake, she licked all the beaters, scrapers, bowl, and I rest the beaters and scrapers on the box and she licked that too. She loved that her cake was a "hop hop" She even helped me frost for a little bit until she tried to lick the frosting off the cake!
On her birthday we went and met Robin for lunch in Idaho Falls, when Robin got home we opened presents with our little family and ate pizza! It was so much fun. It had just gone by so fast.
Kenidee is so much fun and so busy. So many of my friends so list about the things their kids like so I decided I would be a bit of a copy cat. so her is my list.
~ she loves the alphabet and knows the letters A,B,C,D, I,K,M,O.
~She loves to get wet, it could be the hose a pool the neighbors sprinkler system, it doesn't matter as long as she is getting wet.
~ She is obsessed with animals she loves dogs and "Meows". She often plays to be a dog and if she is a little dog her name is princess and if she is a big dog her name is Willow. (both names of dogs that she has met.)
~ She is funny, and she makes little jokes or does silly things then laughs and laughs at her self.
~ She wants to do everything her self. If we are getting out of the car and I try to help her she says to me "my turn"
~She loves to take baths. She lays on her tummy and "swims" I have found out if I shower first then put her in the tub she will hang out in there while I get ready.
~ She can talk of the phone forever. Often I have to tell whoever talking to her to tell her bye and hang up or they will be on the phone for awhile.
~She loves singing and wants you to sing to her, but you better learn how to sing fast because she skips from one song to the next before you can get done with the first song.
~ She loves to be outside.
~ she likes to go to nursery. One time I looked in on her to see how she was doing and she was playing with a baby and putting her in the microwave shut the door pushed the buttons and waited a min and took the baby out.. (should I be scared) :)
~ she loves her daddy. When he is home nothing else will do. He signs and sings the alphabet to her every night and the nights he is not home to do it I try my best but she stops me and tells me dad do it.
~ she loves to laugh and run
~ she loves to jump on the tramp and get up and down herself.
~ She has the most grandma's Great-grandmas and grandpas and great- grandpas a kid could have, and they all adore her.
~ Says please and thank you most of the time all by herself.
~ Loves stickers.
~ We love her so much we are very blessed to be able to have her in our lives, with out her our lives would be dull and very boring.

What a fun weekend.

This weekend Aunt Kari, Ellie and Lexie came from Washington to see us for the weekend. It was so much fun! Kenidee and Ellie are so cute. you can definitely see that they are related, and they do so many of the same things. They love to be outside, and to feed aunt Becca's "meow's", love being wet. This was our first time seeing Lexie and she is so adorable. She is miss smiley and loved her uncle Robin. Kenidee loves to talk to her and she is so soft with her and ALWAYS wants to hold her. It is so cute. Kari and I went to wal-mart and left the girls with Robin while they were sleeping, when we got back The car was gone. Robin had taken Ellie and Kenidee to get ice cream cones. He is a much nicer person then I am I only let kenidee get vanilla and he let them get chocolate. They were in heaven. We wish we lived closer so we could see them more. The girls loved to play together, and ofr the most part were really good to one another. We do miss them.

Today was the day

Well today we went to get our ultra sound of the little baby. I really don't like to get them done, for those of you who have had them no they are not painful, but I get freaked out about what I might find or not find. I usually get my appointments early in the day so I don't have to deal with that feeling all day long. This appointment was later in the afternoon so Robin could be there.
So as we are getting the ultra sound the DR. asked me what I thought it was I told him. Boy. I have always felt it was a boy. As he is looking he says to me well I think you are right it looks like a boy to me... I think. the little guy was so shy. He was keeping every thing covered up, his face, his boy parts every thing. The Doc would shake my belly to get the poor guy to move but he just curled up tighter! he was not going to let us get a good look at anything. So we didn't get any good pictures of him and very few measurements so we are rescheduled to go back the 18 of August. So maybe he will open up and let us take a few cute pics of him.
We are excited. Robin and his brother Chris are already planning what Seattle Seahawks gear he needs. He will be a fan.
I just hope I don't try to put bows in his hair or paint his nails. :) just kidding.
I remember when we found out Kenidee was a girl, it was like she sat on the ultra sound thing to show us she was a girl. It almost seemed she liked to be looked at. doing all sorts of cute things. To this day that is how she is. she loves to be looked at, and be the center of attention.
I did ask her today if she wanted a little baby brother and she told me yes. I even asked her if he could have her binky and she said uh huh. we will see about that.

getting closer

Some of you have been begging us to update our blog about our house.....not to mention any names (skip) Well here you are we have shingles and most of the house has been tyvexed. We have 9 houses in our group and we will have after this weekend 6 of the 9 all shingled. We get about 3 houses shingled in about a week and a half. I think they are all doing so good. I am not supposed to be on the roofs but sometimes I get up and help. I am mostly the clean up crew!

we are getting closer to doing inside things. I can't wait.

And today while Robin and I were out at the "projects" we saw the truck dropping off windows! So this weekend we will be getting windows in our house. How exciting. Thank you to everyone who has come out to help us. We would never be able to do it alone.

So behind...

So much has happened,and I have been a slacker at blogging and at picture taking. So get a bag of popcorn and sit back and get ready to read my novel.

Robin and I went to Lagoon for his work party. We left Kenidee with my niece Andria and sister Rachelle Thank You! Robin's work paid for everything hotels ticket into lagoon, dinner at Mcgrath fish house, and yes even gas! He works for an amazing company! it was so fun to be together and not worry about the house, and to have a Saturday together. I did take my camera with me but left it in the car because I didn't want to have to carry it around Lagoon.

On the way back to Idaho we picked up my niece Emily and nephew Kolby, they were going to be staying with me for 8 days then over to grandmas until after the fourth of July. We did so much when they were here, we went to the splash park, bought a swimming pool for the back yard, had snowcones, bambino's, icecream, Rode horses, went to a park with Rebecca to watch people L.A.R.P (live action role play) with swords and stuff. They went with Grandpa up to see grandma at girls camp at west piny, and kolby went down the huge slide. Emily got to help dog sit a dog named princess. Emily and Kenidee loved the dog Emily wouldn't let the poor dog walk and Kenidee was always trying to get it to shake.

While they were here Rigby had their first annual children's parade. Kolby spent the day before washing up a bike that beck had and getting it all sparkly for the parade. That night Rebecca and I helped him decorate it. If I may add it looked wonderful. Emily walked Princess. Broulims gave away a bike and Emily won it!

That same day was my 10 year high school reunion. They did a family picnic in the park and a dinner that night. I didn't get any pictures sad huh because I was chasing kenidee all over the park. But it was fun to wave at people I hadn't seen in forever, and see everyone and their kids. Robin was out at the house and after the picnic I was going to go and help robin with the house. It was such a busy day. I was sad I didn't get to visit much but I guess maybe things will be different in 5 more years huh.





Our Fourth of July started on the 3rd at Rigby lake. We went and watched the fireworks out there. They do a really good job. There were bagpipe players and a band. We sat with Annie and her kids and paula and craig. Kenidee loved the fireworks. I was teaching her OOOOO AHHHHH she is so much fun. We did leave the fireworks early because Kenidee was asking to go to bed. What do you do when your not quite two year old is begging to go home and go to bed. You go home and put her to bed. The moring of the fourth we got up early and headed to Utah, to spend the fourth with my best friend Heather and my Uncle Terry, Shauna and their kids.


Heather is my best friend from College, she now lives in Texas and we haven't see each other in almost three years. I have a kid and one on the way and she has a little girl Katie who is 4 months old. Kenidee loves Katie we told them over and over they are going to be best friends. :) Heather has some really cute pictures of Kenidee and katie together. I will have to still them from her and post them.

I was so glad her sister married someone from utah so Heather would have to come out here. We met and ate GOOD food with my uncle and aunt then went to Heathers families house and ate more GOOD food. After that we went to Provo to meet up with her sister and watch the fireworks there. Kenidee I think was sick of sitting in the car so she started sucking on her toes. she thought it was so funny. ( I am sad that by this time of night she was done with her super cute bows in her hair)

So tired!

Her sister said it would be better if we parked at her house and just walked. "it isn't that far" well it was kind of far. We figured it was about 2 miles from her house to the stadium. We sat just out side of the stadium, so we got to hear Hannah Montana sing. (how lucky are we.)
When the fireworks started I had no idea that we were sitting right next to where they were getting set off. It was so loud and so smoky, but they were amazing. Kenidee had had it and slept right though it. The booms were so loud it almost hurt so we decided we would start walking back before the end. Kenidee slept the whole way back even though our little stop at burger king for waters. It took us forever to get out of Provo. I think we got to my aunt and uncles at 1:30. (thank you for letting us stay at your house) The next day we got ready to leave but not before we met Heather for a bite to eat at the cheesecake factory. I really hope we get to see each other before another 3 years passes. I told Heathers other little sisters they have to come to school in utah or idaho so they can find a husband. :)
Things are good but we are so busy. The house is coming along, I will take more pictures soon. For those of you who read this whole thing Wow I am impressed!

Boy??? Girl???

So.... we find out what we are having at the end of this month so I thought it would be fun to see what everyones guess would be.
I went to see Dr. Angela Cronin ( my old roommie oh and my other roomie Melissa is the nurse kind of strange) today, and I heard the heart beat, really good for the first time. I am starting to feel soooo much better. I still need my afternoon nap, :) and I am not throwing up as much anymore. A new development yesterday is that my tale bone has been killing me, after sitting down I feel like an old lady trying to get back up. hopefully after some adjusting that will go away.
I have occasionally felt the baby moving. I just can't wait for robin to feel it!
