counter tops

We got counter tops last week in the kitchen. I really like them. things are getting closer they have given us a move in date of April 1 lets just hope it isn't an April fools joke.
Robin and a few others have pulled late nights this weekend to get all the little stuff done. He is so tired. Poor guy. We have county inspections later this week. So things have to be done. It is going to be a busy next few days. Lets just keep our fingers crossed that we will be able to move in soon!

Three months

Bennett is getting so big. He is changing everyday. He still looks like a little Robin. My brother calls him "little bird."
He has been rolling over for a few weeks. He rolls from his back to his belly, and this morning he rolled from his belly to his back. I got it recorded on my phone but whenever I try to get him with my camera he wont roll over. So I will post it soon.
When he is on his Tummy he puts his feet under him and pushes so he is moving a little. SCARY!
I love his little smile and he loves his sister. I will get after Kenidee for loving him to much and when she lets the poor kid breath he is just a smiling. She got him laughing so hard the other day it gave him the hic-ups. I hope they will always be good friends.

are we done yet??!!

the answer to that question is no not yet, but we are getting closer. They think we will be in now the first of April. Lets just keep our fingers crossed. We just finished our floors and cabinets on Saturday. We are the last house to be done with that. We are having carpet laid on Tuesday. WE got all our appliances also on Saturday. I really can't wait to read all the instruction manuals! I had to hold myself back from opening the boxes so I could get a head start on how things work. There is still a ton of little things to do. It is almost overwhelming.
Kenidee loves to go out to "the new house" Whoever is there she asks them a million times if they want to see her room. She loves her "princess" wall. Robin and Justen put beadboard on her wall and she loves it. After she shows them her room she gives a tour of the rest of the house. We can't wait to be in. I will post more pictures when we get more stuff done.

CSI

Kenidee has become obsessed with my camera. If I leave it somewhere she can see it, she will figure out how to get it. she has taken 70+ pictures on my camera in one "session" The other day I just watched her and she is so serious about taking pictures. She has the funnest look on her face, I would take a picture but she has the camera. She never just looks at the screen on the back of the camera she always holds her face to the camera then tries to take the picture. She loves to take pictures of things way close. It reminds me of CSI when they are taking pics of a crime scene. She is so talented :)
She has become so funny. She picks up on songs so fast. Beck has taught her New York NEw York! She has taught her how to test a mic... she taps on it then clears her throat and then says is this thing on. I need to record her doing all her funny things but when she sees a camera she says CHEESE! Kenidee keeps us on our toes! We love her so much. I know with out her I wouldn't laugh as much as I do now.

Lil' Slugger

Bennett is getting so big... in fact he is 3 months today! These were taken a few weeks ago I will take pics tomorrow of him. Time goes by so fast. yet I almost can't remember how our life was with out him. He is such a happy baby. He loves to laugh and smile. Bennett loves his big sister. She loves him till she gets in a bit of trouble, as soon as she gives him his space he smiles and laughs.
He only really cries when he is ready to eat... and trust me when that time comes he will let you know. We love him!

THE BIG 3-0

Robins Birthday was on feb. 24. What a day it was. I really wanted to make is special for him. I mean you only turn 30 once right. Well..... he worked late and we just did a small birthday party at my parents house with my brothers and sisters, and my grandparents. He said it was just fine but I really wish I could have done more for him.
Robin really never reads the blog but I will let the rest of you know what an amazing man he is. I am so lucky to have him as my best friend and my husband. The last year and a half have been so hard on him. Working building a house and going to school. He is always worn out but makes time to spend with Kenidee and Bennett, oh and me too. He even gets up in the night to help me with Bennett.(when I can get him to wake up) I love you Robin.

A few forgotten pictures.

I have been meaning to post these pictures but I just kind of skipped over them. It is sad when life just gets too busy.
I would love to say that Robin and Kenidee spent time together and built this snow man but Robin did it all on his own. I think his inner child got ahold of him. He did come in and get kenidee and she helped make the snow man a mowhawk. she loved the snowman to death. She has gotten so sad as he has been melting. The other day she told me mom look my snow man lost his head.

Look at my little mans smile! he is so cute

Kenidee helped me make biskets one morning and If you know kenidee you know that she LOVES chocolate. She insisted that we put chocolate chips in the biskets... you know it wasn't so bad.
