Cheese!

About a month ago Robin, his brothers and dad decided they would all grow"cheesy" mustaches, then came the topic of Cheesy sweaters to match. So the race was on. Nick even included his daughter Ellie on the cheesy sweater part of things. It was so much fun for the guys and they thought they were all really cool. they have even decided that next year they are are going to grow out "CHOPS" and wear big collar shirts. I personally was so glad when it was done. I am not a fan of kissing a man with a mustache.

My Little Nerd!

I think I might be spending to much time at the computer. Kenidee used to sit on the chair and watch the picture screen saver... now she has to have the chair scooted up close enough to use the mouse and the key board. I turn off the screen so maybe it wont be such a temptation but she still climbs up the chair and plays with the computer. then when I get on the computer later... I have who knows what pulled up and she even put a search bar on the tool bar at the bottom of the page and it took me days to figure out how to get it off.

Picky Picky Picky

I have had a hard time finding things that Kenidee will eat. If she eats it one day she might not eat it at all the next. I make this stuff that has sausage, rigatoni,and marinara sauce. I thought oh what the heck she might like it.... like it she loves it. The only thing is she eats it so much better if she can do it herself.

Next story.... I made chicken enchiladas and gave Kenidee her own and she wouldn't touch it... So I gave her some mac and cheese for dinner. Then as I was cleaning up she wanted the spatula that I used to scoop out the enchiladas and she loved it...as she licking stuff off the spatula she was saying mmmmm.....mmmmm.... mmmmm... What a girl.

Sometimes we just let her have what she wants... there has to be some kind of nutrition in chocolate syrup right. (the lid is closed)

BATH TIME!

Kenidee loves taking baths.Last night when I started the water she wanted her baby in it with her so we undressed the baby and put her in the tub. Before I got the camera she was splashing and splashing then laughing so hard she would tip over. once I got the camera she wasn't so enthusastic, but it was still cute!

Happy Halloween

For Halloween Kenidee was a puppy. She loves dogs. We got her costume at the beginning of September, we tried it on her in the store and she walked around patting her chest and panting like a dog. When we got home I hung it in her closet and when she would see it she would want it on. So she would be a dog for part of the day. Then she would get to hot so I would take it off her and she would carry it around giving it hugs and kisses.
We had a lot of fun with Kenidee this Halloween. We went to a ward party the Tuesday before and there are a lot of little kids in our ward. All the kids seemed to migrate together it was so funny to see them all pulling each others ears, tails, taking each others hats. One little boy followed Kenidee around saying dog dog dog. It was so cute
Then on Halloween we went trunk or treating at my mom's ward. Kenidee didn't really get scared of people really dressed up she just looked at them and said BOOOOO. Then we went to families houses. My uncle Laine has a huge dog Sunny and I have to say his tongue is bigger then Kenidee's face. You may ask how I know this...Well he licked Kenidee's face from chin to forehead. I almost died! Robin and my Aunt and Uncle just laughed. GROSS!
It was a fun night, I am so excited that things are getting to be so much fun with Kenidee.

Fall Leaves

Grandpa Bruce raked up all his leaves and I thought Kenidee would love playing in them. I was wrong... she really hated it. First I just threw her in them... I know mean mom. Then I went and played in them with her to show her how fun it is. She was happy to get out of them.

Six things about me

I have been tagged again but I guess I should do it because it is different and because I got a reminder from Alisha that I had been tagged and she hadn't seen anything on my blog yet.
So here is goes 6 things you might not have known about me.
1.The top joint of my middle finger on my left hand ( got that) No longer bends well in fact I don't ever remember it bending. I crushed the joint when I was like 5 in a folding chair. So now it is fused together and there for not bending.
2. I think if I was a coffee Drinker I would have to have a cup or two before I talked to ANYONE in the morning. Not a morning person. I guess I am getting better with Kenidee in my life.
3. I think I have a bit of OCD. I have to load the dishwasher a certain way. Plates all have to face the same direction, bottles sipppies and baby bowls all go in the same place EVERY time. Matching cups have to all be together. If robin tries to help I have to change it all around before I can start it. This drives him NUTS but he is getting better at just rinsing and setting it in the dishwasher and letting me do my little OCD thing.
4.I hate doing laundry. Everything about it I hate. So it NEVER is done. (wait is laundry ever really done) Maybe that is what I hate about it. I asked Robin If when we were rich and famous he would let me hire someone to do laundry and he said..YES rich and famous here we come. ;)
5. I rarely eat breakfast foods for breakfast. Milk makes me sick in the morning so I usually have some sort of soup or leftovers from the night before.
6.I am going to be a chaperon for my niece's High School orchestra trip this spring. we are going to California to Disney land and to wicked! I am so excited. My sister, Rebecca, and my aunt Vicki are going as well...I think it will be a bit of a party. I got the wicked CD for my birthday and I listen to it at least once a day so I know all the songs. oh.. could that be a bit pathetic.

My Little Helper

The other day I was in the other room cleaning, and Kenidee plays alot in her room. When I call to her she calls back or walks out to show me she is still around. Well last week it didn't quite go like that. I called out to her and she didn't call back but I could here her playing so... I finished dishes and called her name again...nothing and I noticed it was REALLY quite in her room so I walked back and this is what I found.....

Pumpkin Carving!

This weekend we carved our pumpkins. We had our friends Kim and Trent and their son Ethan over we had a fondue party then carved pumpkins. Kenidee had fun all though she was super tired. She kept eating the pumpkin, she even bit off a part of her pumpkin lid. Robin carved Kenidee's, 2 on one of his pumpkins and another pumpkin. I carved my own. We have so much fun, and I am excited that Kenidee is getting bigger so holidays can be more fun for us.

No more hotels!

This weekend was so very fun, all in all. We went to Logan Utah for my niece Hailee's baby blessing. We Rode down in the BIG funeral home van! We have so much fun singing and laughing. Kenidee didn't sleep the whole way down.

We went to Liz's house to help her get all ready for the blessing day. We then went back to the hotel and went swimming then to dinner. Kenidee was so tired at dinner but she wont miss a beat. Someone is having fun and she wants to be having fun too. I guess she is a party animal.

We went back to the hotel so she could go to bed. She went to sleep really good. I was surprised because she wont sleep anywhere but in her own bed. (drives me nuts) So Robin went to my parents room to finish watching a movie. I told him I would stay in the room and read (Eclipse) by the light of the bathroom. I moved a chair over by the door and read.

So we got to bed late. I had to finish just one more chapter then just one more. those of you who have read these books know what I am talking about.

Anywho....Kenidee woke up at 2:00 ish SCREAMING!!! she was in and out but when she would wake up is was a terrible scream. She finally went to bed around 5.

I thought for sure she would fall asleep in church....nope at least at my sisters house. She did after everyone had left but robin had to hold her. So it was a cat nap. I then thought for sure on the way home... she would be out. NOPE!!!! Awake the whole way back to Rexburg.

I'm back

K so for all of you who have been asking... My laptop died... I know it was a sad day for me too but I got my new desk top and am starting to feel reconnected to the world and to my friends and family. So I have a lot to catch up on. So here we go!

Kenidee started walking about a week after her first birthday, it didn't take her long to start running. She is talking up a storm. She says so much. I might not be able to tell what she is saying, and sometimes she looks at me like duh mom I am talking to you. She loves to sit in her chair and read a book or sometimes I will catch her sitting in her chair talking to her baby, rocking and patting.

Robin started school. He is really liking it. I don't so much (just because he doesn't get home till about 10:30)

I am still working and being a mom. I did have a b-day September 23, and our neighbors brought me over a cake for my b-day. It was so cute and way nice of them to make sure I had a happy birthday and I did. Even though I am now old!

We do have some good news. We signed on our loan for a house! (in rigby) looks like we will be here for awhile! Hopefully we can get our permits soon so we can dig before the ground freezes! So we are officially poor! hip hip hooray!

We went and picked pumpkins Oct 6 and it snowed I have never had to dig for a pumpkin then pick it. What a cold day! It felt like we should have been going to get Christmas tree's instead of pumpkins
