What was lost is now found!

Yep we found the charger to the camera!!
Today I went to the Dr. for a check up and to do the glucose test. BLAH you have to drink this nasty sugar drink then after an hour they check your glucose levels. well mine were high so I am going back tomorrow to so a fasting test same thing but you have to be fasting and you drink a more concentrated drink and get your finger stuck every hour for three hours. SOOO much fun. Some good news did come out of this. While the Dr. was measuring and listening to the heart beat I asked him. if it sounded like a girl heart beat or a boy heart beat. He said that the heart beat thing was just an old wives tell, then he asked me if I didn't know yet. I told him we have looked but the baby didn't want to show anything off so. He told me to go with him and we would take a little peak. I was hoping and praying that the sugar got the baby moving and would let us see some thing. Sure enough the baby wasn't shy. (If you don't want to know what we are having I would suggest you stop reading till the picture of the house.) First the Dr. said oh well it looks like you are having a girl, I am like really that is great then he was like wait maybe it is a boy. I told him Dr. you have played this game before. and he said no really it is a boy 100 percent boy and explained to me where all the parts are. I called Robin and he is so excited! I am excited that I can plan a little bit, it was driving me crazy. It is now one less unknown for us.

HERE IS OUR HOUSE!
WE are super excited and it finally looks like something. We have 4 more houses to finish siding but 2 of them should be done by the end of this week and we should get tons done this weekend on the other two. After the siding is finished we will be putting up our fences before it gets to cold. then we will move inside. If anyone wants to know how to build a fence or put up sheet rock(or already knows) give us a call we know where you can learn or practice.

Lost

I haven't posted in a while, it isn't because we have nothing going on it is just because I can't find the charger for my camera, and our camera has a battery that is specific for that camera. I still have one more place to look, cross your fingers it is in my grandma's car. In the mean time we have been super busy.
At the houses we are trying to get everything sided before it gets way to cold. Our house is DONE.. It looks so cute! I love it. (pictures soon to come when I find the charger. :( )
Then we were hoping to move inside to work for the bitter months of winter. We have been told that we will have to do our fences as soon as we are done siding. So it looks like we will be having to pull out our overalls and boots before we will be able to move into the warmth of an unfinished house.
This program for houses is long and hard but I have been told by others that finished in the last month or so that it is so worth it... lets hope so huh. Robin and I can't wait to have a weekend together. He has been so busy with work, school the house and with ALL his spare time he spends it with Kenidee and I.
Kenidee is growing up so big. she is talking our ears off. This last weekend robin taught her to say "GOOOOOO SEAHAWKS!!!" And when you ask her what her Daddy's team is she says "SEAHAWKS!!!" She woke up so early this week that the stars were still out and she said to me mommy I want to watch Seahawks! Robin couldn't be happier. He loves it.
It was my 29th birthday on Tuesday, I am getting so old. the Sunday before we had a family dinner and the best cake in the world(thanks mom) One Tuesday robin was home from work so we got to hang out together and we went and worked on the house for a few hours then off to my favorite place to eat Olive Garden (thanks Rod) Robin and I have it worked out so we share a meal and he gets soup and I get salad. it works out great and we don't spend a ton and we still have leftovers. (great for breakfast). I had a wonderful day, thanks to family and friends that called and remembered my birthday and for the ones that called the next day thanks for helping my birthday last just one more day.
Kenidee is starting to look like a such a big girl. She was standing by the door waiting for me to get my shoes on so we could leave and I just saw my baby waiting for the school bus to come and get her for school. It is fun that she is growing up and learning so much and has her own opinions, the other day I was getting her dresses and she told me momma no jeans... I wear these and held up pink sweat pants. I tried to talk her out of it and tried to put a different shirt on her but no it was pink sweats and a turquoise shirt. Oh well what can you do.
You can give her a color book and crayons and she will color all day long she loves it. in fact when we go somewhere in the car we have to take them with us.
I don't know how much she really understands about the baby but she comes up to my belly and says "hi baby hi" she loves to "tickle" the baby, and get this folks she calls it her baby sister. No coaching there. The other morning when she woke up so early I was rocking her and the baby was kicking so hard and Kenidee could feel it so I told her that her baby was saying hello she loved it she just let me hold her and rock her and when she would feel the baby kicking she would giggle and say hi baby.
People told me "oh just wait till she is two she is going to give you a run for your money!" I love it so far she makes me laugh, she is such a good girl and she is learning so much. Don't get me wrong we have our "two days" I like to call them but I love every min. of it. We have so much fun together.

Me: Kenidee guess what? We get to go to nursery today!" YEA !!!
Kenidee: No nursery... I go to temple.

A Little Scary!

For any of you that know my sister Rachelle know that she can be quite funny. Well a few years ago she had a roommate who got a hold of a mannequin head, I believe they use at beauty college to practice doing hair. WELL they cut it's hair and drew on a mustache, gave it a name and played all sorts of pranks on people with this head.
Well those roommates are long gone and Rachelle found a new friend, Monica! Monica has fabulous hair, and I believe has many more pranks to come in her life time with Rachelle.
K... why in the heck is Steph posting about a freaky head? Well when Rachelle brought it home Kenidee and I happened to be at my mom's and Kenidee was afraid of it. Wouldn't we all be really. So Rachelle and I told her it was a baby and she sat on the ground and loved it and kissed it. So FUNNY to us, and a bit scary.

Home Sweet Home

We are back!!!! It was so nice to get away and see family and friends, but it is wonderful to be back home and in our own beds. We did so much in a little over a week it is crazy.
We got to see a few of our really good friends in Tacoma Sherry and her family and The Lays and the 4 kids and their remodled house it is beautiful. It gives me hope that someday we will be done with our house and we will love it. I was so sad I did'nt get pictures, I did take my camera but I guess in my excitement to see them I left it in the car.
Last thursday Robin parents took kenidee and I up to marysville where the rest of my family was busy getting ready for Andrew's & Anna's open house. We also celebrated Aunt Lisa's 50th birthday on friday.
We went to Pike Place Market on Friday for Lisa's birthday, I love it there. It was crazy busy because of bumbershoot(I don't know if I spelt that right) I guess it is a thing over labor day weekend. So the market was so full I love all the crazy people and the odd smell of fish flowers and fresh fruit, and lets not forget the best doughnut place around the corner from the famous flying fish.
The rest of the weekend was spent cooking, taste testing and eating more sweets then anyone person should eat in a day.
The open house was beautiful. All day it had been raining and kind of yuckie then a few hours before the recption it all cleared up and it was a beautiful night. With tons of way good food.
