We are huge slackers how bout an update!

I am using this blog for more of a journal so this post is going to be long and lots of stories and pictures.
As you all know we moved to our new house. We are so happy to be here, we love the neighborhood and our new ward. It is so good to be home. I will take pictures when I have everything hung and stuff we are still working on that. We also need to be busy getting the yard ready for sod. I can't wait to get grass. So we have been sick and while we were moving the kids were both sick but Aunt Rachelle came to the rescue! She came to our house looking like she was a hazmat worker. She risked coming to our "pea tree dish" to take care of my kids.

I love that in one picture Bennett is coughing then the other Kenidee is coughing.Rachelle really did risk her health to help us out.

So to update what we have been doing for the last month I will just have to update one person at a time starting with our little kenidee. She still loves to be outside. We had a few beautiful days and it was like some one dropped millions of kids outside. I think they all crawled out from rocks. As I was dragging her home for dinner she yells out "MOM I NEED MY FRIENDS!!!!!!"
Kenidee has been a big helper We got an old dresser from my aunt so we sanded it down and she helped me paint it. We had so much fun. Then we were painting toe nails and she wanted to paint mine so bad. So what do I do. I let her. She kept saying to me "mom you have to hold still!" where do you think she got that from. She was so proud of my nails I couldn't take it off. So I had the most precious manicure for my cousins wedding.
The last month we have been potty training her and she has her good days and her bad days. Let me tell you about how Kenidee gets on the potty. She has a little toilet seat that fits on the potty. she takes off her pants and her undies and climbs on the potty, so now she is facing backwards, then she stands on tht potty turns around and plops herself right down. I laughed so hard. She often had cleaver things to say like when she wet or pooped in her pants she told me it was okay because I could wash them. She then went to cleaning up her own poopie pants, even filling the sink with water to soak them. She is not an average child. One day she was pretending to sneeze in the potty, (she saw rebecca do it a few times) with her binky in her mouth and oops is fell in the potty. She tried to get it out but it was long gone. Rachelle was here and distracted her while I tried many things to get it out. Soon I had to just reach in and get it. But as far as Kenidee knows it got flushed. She some times asks for it but then she tells me what happened to it. Once in a while she will tell me that the Binky fairy will go and get it and then leave a surprise on the front steps. I have to tell her that fairies don't go in potties.
We went on a small weekend trip to SLC for my cousin Alex's wedding and I was so worried she had only been potty training for a week and a half. I had heard people talk about when they go on vacation their children have tons of accidents so, I packed every pair of unders and pants the girl owned. SHE DIDN'T have one accident, and woke up dry!!!! So we took her to build a bear and she loved it. It was so fun to see her so excited about it. After that we went down to the fountain and she wanted to play in it. it wasn't exactly warm but I took off her jacket and shoes and socks and let her go for it. Kenidee had so much fun and made new friends.
Back to Alex's Wedding She look beautiful and it is always so great to be able to go to a sealing and remember what being sealed is all about. Kenidee was so excited to go to the temple and she talked about it all morning.
The next day we went to the Zoo with Justen Bri Mitchell and Rachelle. The kids had so much fun. I am so glad we got to go.

Bennett is 5 months old!!!!! can you believe it! He is getting so big. He woke up one morning all grown up with big cheeks. I love them! He has been rolling over for a month and a half but whenever I get out the camera he just lays there and smiles. He gets on his tummy and pushes himself across the floor I think as soon as he figures out how to use his arms I am in trouble.
He has started eating solid foods and boy don't mess with a man and his food.
Bennett is also starting to sit up, and sleeping all night. My baby is growing up so fast. It kind of makes me sad but I am so excited that he is learning so much. He loves his sister and Kenidee can make him laugh all the time. I really hope and pray that they will be really good friends.

Robin is still working, thank heavens, and he is out of school for the summer. He is getting a well needed break. He also just took epa certification test. We should hear back this week how it all went, he feels like he did a good job.

Me I just am trying to be a mom and figure out how to keep a schedule and keep my house clean, and try to keep the kids entertained. We are doing well and we are so blessed and we love our new house.

It's so crazy how the children grow so quickly! I love Bennett's huge eyes--they are beautiful! Kenidee is growing like a weed and it sounds like she could be a great help at home! Keep up the great work!
