I am so happy Kenidee’s hair is getting longer. I have one problem; my sweet little girl is getting a mullet. I love her little curls and the end of her hair and I am afraid that if I cut it there goes the one time in her life she won’t have extremely straight hair.
I have talked to many people about this and some say oh let it grow it will be alright, and others say cut it you don’t want your daughter to have a mullet do you? Umm of course I don’t want her to have a mullet. Then I think will she look like a little boy if I cut her hair?
I took a few pictures tonight but she wouldn’t hold still surprise surprise. So this is what you get to judge the baby mullet by. I will try to get more. Please help me decide what to do. Cut the Baby mullet or let the mullet take its course and grow out.

Alyvia had a mullet, but I let it grow and put it in little low piggy tales and head bands and cute hair styles. When her hair got longer it had some great natural layers and curls. When I had to trim it the natural curls at the end disappeared, sniff, sniff. Your choice. But I say let it grow! :)
I agree with Jana. Let it grow. My friends little girl (about the same age) had a mullet and she cut it and she does look like a little boy now. But she does the pony on the top, which isn't too bad. I say let it grow!!
Yea... I say let it grow too. She will grow out of the mullet soon enough. And in the meantime, if a mullet looks cute on anyone, it looks cute on a cute little red-head!
Hey mullet are coming back! Seriously! Not the crazy ones we had when we were little, but the shaggy short fringe and the long back with lots of layers.
I say let it grow! It is cute!
Oh my gosh! I can't believe they are coming back in. Last night I was flipping throught the channels and flipped to American Idol just as Paula was talking. She has a MULLETT!!!! No joke! So Shana is right, even though they are butt ugly! She looked horrible!
I say let it grow out, I like the pigtail idea that will help avoid the mullet look and still achieve the "girl" look. Good luck!
I say let it grow.. for a little while. Just until the top is long enough to give her cute girl bangs, or put clips in. THEN, cut the mullet off!!! Shana, please promise us you won't cut anyone's hair like this on purpose!
I guess my little girl will just have to be in "style" for a while.
My daughter Kennedy had a mullet too. But it was much worse!! I say keep it there till the rest of her hair grows, then cut it. My other daughter Jocelyn on the other hand has the opposite problem her hair grows faster and is longer on top than in back.
First off, she'd be cute either way... she is seriously so cute! But I say let it grow (not that I have much experience, I only have boys). I love the curls!
