Is this safe?

When my aunt Coleen was here we all went to idaho Falls for a bit of shopping and lunch. Well we all couldn't fit in one car with the car seat we were one seat short, so I was just going to take my own car. When I got to my moms to follow them to Idaho Falls this is what my mom and Aunt Coleen had figured out. They strapped Kenidee's car seat in the back part of my mom's car.(I kept calling it the Trunk) I was a little worried about it for awhile , but they convinced me it was just fine for the ride down, then my uncle would be going back with my grandpa so she would be able to sit in a seat for the rest of our adventure.
Well things went fine and Kenidee loved it, when I switched the seat she wanted to be in the back still. I don't think I will be letting her do it again but I guess it saved me the gas of driving my car to Idaho Falls.

that is so funny with kenidee in the back of the car. Of course she would rather ride there that in a normal seat. YEA for your house!!! It does look like a house now. youre getting closer to moving in!!!! YEA!!!!

I would be nervous too! If my Aunt and Mom suggested it I would trust there opinion though. Where is your house, Rigby? Ian and I are thinking about coming up that way this summer. If we do I hope we can meet up with you and Kristin. How are you feeling?

Did they hook the car seat to the latch from the back? Pretty cool, I think our moms are much more creative than us, they didn't have all the special baby stuff we do, they had to figure it out for themselves. BTW We have the same car seat and LOVE IT. I wish I had one to sit in, it looks so comfy!

Wow! I would have been freakin' out the whole way to town, watching for every police officer. I don't know how our parent's got away with not having to put all of us in car seats, and seat belts.

That's so funny! I would have never thought to do that. In all reality it's probably pretty safe. Our parents are so much more relaxed about seat belts cause they didn't have to use them. I have a hard time driving too far without my kids buckled in. It's a habit I guess.
